This is My Battalion

In 2015-2017 will become the precious moment for entire whole my life,that life changed my lifestyle and force me to become more courage to face problems in future.Admit it,I'm really miss that place and leave it in fully tearful but maybe that only fortune Allah gave to me.Did you know where I'm from?Yeah the place fully of training and discipline called Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia(UPNM).So it like full of enjoyment right?Nahh,it's not easy as you think,but for sure you can sustain if you can divide your time wisely.

3015051 Cadet Officer Muhd Syaiful Nazmi bin Ramzi report to duty Sir! ,yahh it's time to duty at least one day for one week and that day will become busy day ever.You must wonder when I'm be a soldier that time right.Hahaha! On 5 August 2016 officially I'm had 10 fingerprints embossed on my attestation paper and be part of military personnel then automatically changed my ID card to BAT C 10 (represent ID card but for military only).We started to do documentation about one month and undergo the training about six weeks that called 'Tunas Wira'.It's very tired training,every day exhausted and same time we dont have enough time to shower HAHAHA! We do many activities such as 'pengapungan mengunakan pelampung buatan','baca peta dan pandu arah' and 'jalan laju 5km termasuk peralatan penuh begpack+webbing set+senjata m16'.Every day in early morning we do Physical Training(PT) to build up our stamina and keep up our mental at high level.For sure not everybody liked this activities in the morning hahaha this can cause you to 'muntah hijau'.Everybody accomplished the six weeks 'hell' training and we officially a cadet officer of UPNM!

Since I'm at there,many activities had organised by us such as Eco Challenge,UKMHK,Happy Hour and sports like boxing,run with baton and football.This will teach us how to manage the each of activites wisely without incurring any problems.Our daily routine also start up on 0500H-2300H.Following our routine tasks:

0500H : Bangun Subuh
0600H : Baris Subuh
0700H : Baris Pagi
0800H-1600H : Kuliah
1500H-1800H : Baris sukan dan sukan(pelbagai sukan)
1830H : Baris Maghrib
1900H-2030H : Sembahyang Mahrib dan Isyak
2300H : Baris 'Roll Call'
2359H : Lights off

For weekdays

0500H : Bangun Subuh
0600H : Baris Subuh
0700H : Baris Pagi
0800H-1600H : Kelas Ketenteraan (LKU)
1500H-1800H : Baris sukan dan sukan(pelbagai sukan)
1830H : Baris Maghrib
1900H-2030H : Sembahyang Mahrib dan Isyak
2300H : Baris 'Roll Call'
2359H : Lights off

Weekend : Outing for all cadets.

If you really perform in your previous studies you have a chance to continue your study at overseas such as,ADFA,USMA,USNA also to West Point.You will sit for TOEFL(highest qulifications after MUET and widely respected most country for English test) and need to challenges with another cadets.For my intake 2015 only one person that sent to ADFA and undergo training at there about four years studies.For granted you will feel prouded for yourself,family and for your nation.

For my previous study before enter bachelor level,I'm studying foundation for a year and pass it with flying color.I'm strategic student because I'm take a Strategic Studies in bachelor programme and guess what it really toughh!! I admit that my failure manage the time wisely,I only hang on about two semester only and quit from UPNM.I'm really upset with my result after getting CGPA below 2.00 and didn't pass it.I have tried my best to perform for my studies but I can't do for that.But,I know Allah is best planner,we dont know what He will give us after this and I'm sure can achieve more than this.Insya Allah..here I'm shared you precious moment at there.

With my senior act as my buddy at there,next he will commision as Second Liuetenant.Congrats Sir!

UKMHK competition,UKMHK standing for Ujian Kemahiran Merempuh Halangan dan Kawad Kaki.That time we have attire check up by instructors.I'm in right side of this photo hehe.  

During 'kawad senjata' we performed an actions with M16 to see how much uniform we are.

Tired! After faces many discipline obstacle and we did it.This time full gear begpack,AUG Styer and webbing set and all of that around 15kg!

To all of students who want to study at UPNM,make sure apply through UPU and put on first choice
wait for interview call from them.Make sure your result get at least 4A in your SPM to qualify the requirement that have been set up by university.Wish you all the best!

All the memories will bear in my mind,focusing for the next one.Once failure it's not failure for whole entire of life right? There are still have a chance to achieve a success just show the effort you will reward for that.
